Account Setup, Billing & Insurance Questions

If we don’t have a relationship with you already, we ask that you fill out our credit application and fax or email it to the office you’ll be doing business with.

Product prices vary widely based on rental term, customization and availability. Please use our quote request form or Call Us and we’ll get you a price right away.

Though we are primarily a rental operation, we are willing to price a unit at a customer’s request. Call Us or use our Quote Request form and explain what you are looking for and we’ll get back to you.

We require any company who is renting an office product to carry a general liability policy with a $1,000,000 minimum.

Our bills are due upon receipt. We bill in the early days of each rental period so you pay for your current month’s use, we do not bill in arrears.

Depending on the equipment ordered (new equipment, customizations, etc.) and our familiarity with your company, we may need a deposit to begin the rental.

We send our first bill as soon as the equipment is delivered. We always bill for the current rental timeframe and do not require rent payment before delivery.

Some products are prorated and billed from the first of the month. Some items are billed in monthly increments.

Occasionally Metro does buy used equipment. Call Us if you are interested in selling something we may want to own.

Delivery, Setup, Permitting & Utilities Questions

We can almost always have equipment delivered and setup within 3 business days and in more urgent situations as soon as the same business day.

Our facilities are generally able to deliver throughout the states in which they are located. We are more than willing to work with custormers for out of state deliveries.

The customer is responsible for all permitting.

If you are using the product as a jobsite office code issues rarely apply. If you are planning on using the equipment as a commercial office inside a municipality you may want to check with the city to know what they require. A commercial office will likely need to be set up according to local codes and requirements.

We will need access to a level, compacted surface large enough for the equipment to be set up.

Though the specific work can vary depending on surface condition, in general we spot (place) the trailer, block (build piers under) the trailer, level the trailer, then anchor the trailer. If the customer has ordered them we then install skirting and/or steps.

Each office unit has its own electrical subpanel. Smaller trailers generally have 60 or 80 amp subpanels. Larger trailers have up to 150 amp subpanels. Make sure you ask us about the specific product you need to rent.

The customer is responsible for bringing all utilities to the trailer.

Under certain conditions and with our permission, Metro will allow a company with proper equipment and insurance to pickup and setup our office products. Please contact us to discuss these details.

We require the customer or an authorized agent be onsite for us to deliver or pickup equipment.

Call one of our friendly agents to arrange for equipment pickup.

Trailers do not come from the factory with phone or data lines installed. Many of our used trailers have installations remaining from a previous customer that you may be able to use.

Smaller office trailers are not large enough to contain handicap accessible restrooms. Most of our larger trailer trailers are ADA compliant. As each product and application varies, please ask us about your specific needs.
